Summer Reading Sessions

The Maine Center for Academic Excellence will be offering summer reading sessions for your 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th or 7th grader who is documented at 1.5 years below grade level in reading.  The Center strives for each student a growth of 2 academic years in reading accuracy and fluency at the end of the 6 week course.

Is your child behind in reading?  Is reading a struggle for your student?  The Maine Center for Academic Excellence wants to help.  With the help of the Lindamood Bell Reading Intervention program, the MCAE  is confident that your child can gain 2 academic years of reading growth in fluency and accuracy during our 6 week summer course.  Each course runs for 6 week at 4 days per week for approximately 2-2.5 hours.  Hours are flexible.  We will work together to create a schedule that suits your busy summer needs.

Cost for the session is $4,500.  A 20% deposit on the session is required at the time of registration along with a $50.00 materials fee each non-refundable.  Half of the remaining balance ($450) is due on the first day of your session with the remaining balance ($450) due on the first day of the third week of the session.
